• Hooman Medicine-Nutritor is the patent-registered individualized nutritional support system that provides customized medical meals for patients based on their pathology and medical treatment. HM-Nutritor provides nutritional risk report for in-house patients who would be discharged into outpatient settings. 
• HM-Nutritor physician-consultants design patient’s dietary regimens based on combination of vitamin supplementation, olive oil, peanuts, fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes, seafood and white meat. 
• HM-Nutritor prep-medically designed meals are based on our concierge patient’s pathologies such as cancer, diabetes, fracture management, post-surgical recovery, endocrine, gastrointestinal, liver and kidney disease.

Hooman Walk Foundation is a nonprofit organization and charity foundation providing protective shoes for children with congenital defects and lower extremity diseases. Headquartered in Dubai and founded in 2020 by DPM Physician and Wound Care Specialist, Dr.Hooman, DPM,MSc,FAPWCA in California. 

Hooman Walk Foundation began working in late 2020  in pursuit of it’s mission of providing one million pair of medical shoes to children in poor, developing countries. Dr.Hooman’s mission has been to create partnership with leading American and Middle Eastern shoe companies to sponsor his foundation’s mission.

In January 2021, Hooman Walk Foundation’s new advertising campaign , “The Power of Walk” was unveiled  with plans in motion to distribute 7500 pair of shoes to orphanages in rural regions of Iran. The foundation’s next destination is yet to be revealed based on pandemic’s travel regulations.

Hooman Walk Foundation’s second mission is providing sponsorship for lower extremity specialists treating hip dysplasia, leg-length discrepancy, vertical talus, macrodactyly and clubfoot deformities in children coming from families with limited financial means. 

The foundation’s multidisciplinary team led by Dr.Hooman Mir, DPM, MSc,FAPWCA is made up of pediatric orthopedic surgeons, podiatry surgeons, vascular surgeons and wound care specialists who specialize in surgical and non-surgical treatment of lower extremity conditions related to congenital defects, trauma and walking (gait)abnormalities. The foundation’s physicians have been trained in Ponseti Method, limb lengthening and complex limb deformity correction.

In March 2021, Dr.Hooman introduced the “Cast Care Initiative” Program as part of Hooman Walk Foundation that provided printed manuals for the family members of children being treated for their congenital lower limb deformities.

Dr.Hooman’s manual provided:

• How to make a traditional cast into a “Waterproof” cast ?
• How to make the child more comfortable with cast while providing non-weight bearing ambulation. 
• How to keep the cast clean and avoid cracks and breaks while wearing the cast.
• Steps to ensure skin protection inside the cast.
